About this position
The IDB is looking for a native-English speechwriter (or native-English-level equivalent), preferably with press and media relations experience, to join our team in Washington DC. Preference will be given to any candidates who are also fluent in Spanish or Portuguese.
You will work on the Executive Communications team, which supports the communications of the Office of the President, producing speeches, talking points, op-eds, background information for interviews, and developing cross-cutting messages to help position the work of the IDB Group. The team maintains close coordination with the Communications Division to ensure proper alignment and coordination of all communication efforts with our country offices, operational sectors, corporate functions, IDB Lab and IDB Invest.
