Job-ID: V000057094 Location: Tashkent Assignment period: 05/01/2024 - 12/31/2025 Field: Public Health Type of employment: full- or part-time Application deadline: 03/11/2024The Ministry of Health has expressed the need for technical support in its health financing for Universal Health Coverage (UHC) reform processes, especially in the scaling up of its “State Health Insurance Fund”, introduction of new health financing mechanisms and innovative management solutions. The coordination of national and international partner initiatives and alignment of support are of utmost importance. With tailored expert support and use of relevant social health protection network structures (Providing for Health Network - P4H), the potential exists to foster increased domestic investment in health, increase social health protection coverage of the population while also supporting the growth of a sustainable and resilient health system. The P4H Country Focal Person (CFP) will work in close alignment and in complementarity to the GIZ bi-lateral programme’s health portfolio. Beyond the country specific engagement (which will take the majority work weight) the CFP may also engage in Global Fund financing aspects concerning similar central Asian countries – like Kirgizstan and Tadzhikistan in the context of the larger BACKUP programme.
