Aim of the position: Follow up the implementation of the Protection activities in the target areas

Main tasks and responsibilities:

· Support the Protection Field Coordinator in developing the work plan and chronograph for the implementation of the Education Support and ensure that the activities are executed as per the shared calendar;

· Carry out outreach visits in the community in order to identify beneficiaries; liaise with families and employers of vulnerable children;

· Support the Protection Field Coordinator in coordinating and supervising teachers and educators engaged in the Education Support activities and in PSS activities;

· Support the teachers and educators in the definition of the activities learning outcomes and of the related materials;

· Carry out field assessments and prepare the related written reports;

· Responsible of identification of potential Protection cases and referral to the Protection Case Manager;

· Support the M&E department in monitoring the quality of implemented activities, their impact, and beneficiaries’ participation;

· Prepare and archive relevant documents, including photos;

· In charge of regular data collection from field and reporting to supervisors;

· Proven and documented weekly communication to the Protection Field Coordinator and Project Manager;

· Any other activity requested by the Protection Field Coordinator and Project Manager.

Essential requirements:

Education: Degree in International Cooperation, International Relations, Social Work or any other related field of specialty

Work experience: At least two-year experience in field work regarding Protection

Required skills and experiences:

· Experience in protection work / social work.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills in English language and Arabic language.

· Strong teamwork skills.

· Strong reporting skills.

Language Proficiency: Arabic Mother tongue, good in English (both written and spoken)

1st counselor: Area coordinator

2nd counselor: Project Manager
