Duties and Qualifications
Responsibilities: The Senior PSP Assistant (Salesforce Administrator) is a crucial role as he/she will ensure that the newly adopted DRM system fully supports the fundraisers in achieving the income targets. He/she will act as PSP Italy focal point/super-user of Salesforce and will be responsible for performing and optimizing data management operational activities, ensuring that donorsÂ' information stored in the DRM is accurate, usable, protected and respondent to current and future needs.
Main responsibility encompasses around managing Salesforce and extends to related tools for fundraising activities. Under the direct supervision of the PSP Associate (Data & IT), within the Database and Analysis area, the individual contractor will assist in the following: Â' Perform and successfully complete the migration of the legacy DRM system to Salesforce, including the execution of data migration/cleansing tasks
Â' Be responsible for Salesforce application set-up and configuration, with the support of third-party implementation partners when needed, ensuring the DRM system fully supports the fundraising processes maximizing end-userÂ's productivity
Â' Manage and continuously maintain Salesforce application and its integration with other systems (i.e. email marketing platform, call centre applications, BI tools, etc.), including support request and escalated administrative needs of users, by providing prompt and complete resolution to technical challenges and business support issues
Â' design, develop, test, release new business processes and maintain existing ones in Salesforce including complex workflow rules, validation rules, formulas, flow, process builder, page layouts, custom fields/object, reports, dashboard and other Salesforce customization - Post go live tasks
Â' Evaluate new releases of Salesforce applications and managed packages, leading plans for their implementation and being the champion of Salesforce best practices - Post go live tasks
Â' Support, train and coach the users of the application, developing, providing and disseminating trainings for end-users when needed - Post go live tasks
Â' Maintain and produce all the support documentation (end-user guides, system release notes, and tracking bugs, enhancements and features - Post go live tasks
Â' Be the PSP Italy primary focal point for Salesforce by partnering with internal stakeholders, external vendors and third-party implementation partners to proactively identify, drive, and build improvements, enhancements and system customizations that solve business needs, ensuring requirements are effectively collected and fully implemented, tests completed and system quality maintained
Â' Perform any other duties as required.
Qualifications and Experience: Education
Â' Completion of secondary education
Â' Certification/training in computing or a related discipline
Â' University Degree in computing, engineering or a related discipline is considered an asset
Work Experience
Â' Minimum 2 years of relevant Salesforce experience (1 year in case of University degree)
Â' Proven experience with Salesforce CRM management as administrator and business analyst specifically with the development of automations with process builder, workflows and advanced reports and dashboard
Â' Proven command with data loader
Â' Experience with AppExchange applications
Â' Experience with handling confidential data and demonstrated understanding of different data collection methodologies
Â' Working Experience in non-profits or fundraising is a very relevant asset
Â' Experience with Nonprofit Success Pack (Certified Nonprofit Cloud Consultant is high desirable)
Language requirements
Â' Excellent Italian and English is required, both written and spoken.
Â' Working knowledge of another relevant UN language will be considered an asset

Â' Knowledge of ETL Tools (such as Talend or similar)
Â' Solid Knowledge of declarative salesforce feature such as Flow (essential), Process Builder
Â' Knowledge of object-oriented programming (Java) and of web technologies and web services

Type of contract: Local UNOPS Individual Contractor Agreement, level 5 (L-ICA 5).
Contract duration: until 31 December 2021.
Expected entry on duty: June 2021.

The primary purpose of the Private Sector Partnerships (PSP) Unit in UNHCR is to generate income from individual donors, corporate and foundations, in order to sustain UNHCR activities worldwide.
Within PSP Italy Individual Giving team, Database and Analysis area is responsible to support fundraisers in achieving the income target, implementing data management solutions needed to govern the extensive information system related to fundraising activities. In order to maximize opportunities offered by this area of work the adoption of Salesforce is ongoing and expected to be fully implemented by second semester 2020.
