- Coordinate and contribute to the designing, planning, implementation and monitoring & evaluation of activities under the Migration Management portfolio of IOM Pakistan.
- Contribute to the development of work-plans for utilization of financial resources and tracking expenditures, in line with IOM's policies and guidelines as well as donor requirements.
- Act as the focal point for regular communication and coordination with variety of project stakeholders to maintain effective and productive working relationships and overall project implementation.
- Contribute to development of training materials produced by external experts and consultants, by liaising with internal thematic experts, and incorporating feedback from government representatives.
- Provide technical, administrative and logistical coordination for activities for government agencies, local partners and other stakeholders, in coordination with technical experts.
- Coordinate the organization of meetings, workshops and trainings among project stakeholders; facilitate training activities for project partners and government counterparts; personally deliver selected sessions on topics such as border governance, labor migration, return and readmission management, and counter-trafficking.
- Design and implement monitoring and evaluation tools, including assessments, surveys, and interviews, in order to document and determine the progress and impact of the project; identify issues and deviations and suggest remedial actions.
- Draft relevant materials for project activities such as project visibility materials, progress reports, project briefing notes, meeting minutes etc.
- Undertake travel duty as may be required for the implementation of project activities.
- Generate and bring to the attention of MMD senior management ideas for potential new projects; conceptualize and provide draft inputs for the development of relevant concept notes and proposals for new projects.

- Bachelor’s degree in development studies, political sciences, social sciences, gender studies, law, human rights or other relevant field from an accredited academic institution with 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Or High School diploma with 7 years of experience. Accredited Universities are those listed in the UNESCO World Higher Education Database. Experience
- Experience in planning and direct implementation of project activities, preferable in area closely related to migration.
- Experience in liaising and coordinating with external actors such as government counterparts, civil society, academia and local communities.
- Experience in preparation of project narrative reports, statements, communication materials and other reports.
- Experience in project design, donor and partner liaison is an advantage.
- Experience working with UN agency or international organization; prior work with IOM and familiarity with IOM protocols is an asset. Skills

- For this position, fluency in Urdu and English is required (oral and written).
