POSITION DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Senior Program Manager (EpiC Myammar)
LOCATION: Yangon, Myanmar
EpiC is a global project funded by the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR) and the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). The project provides strategic technical assistance (TA) and direct service delivery to break through barriers to 95-95-95 and promote self-reliant management of HIV programs by improving HIV case-finding, prevention, treatment programming and viral load (VL) suppression among key populations (KPs) and priority populations (PPs). In Myanmar, EpiC will work in Yangon region to address critical gaps and bottlenecks in the response to HIV among KPs in Myanmar and build capacity of local, community-based KP organizations to deliver HIV services tailored to the needs of KPs. In addition to activities mentioned above, EpiC Myanmar will focus on improving uptake of and access to HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP) as well as enhancing the general HIV services for transgender individuals in Myanmar.
FHI 360 is seeking a Senior Program Manager (SPM) to work closely with other EpiC Myanmar Team members to ensure financial, operational, technical, programmatic efficiency, compliance, and reporting. The SPM will provide technical and programmatic support to EpiC activities in Myanmar including monitoring project activities and budget as well as helping to organize EpiC team efforts and activities in Myanmar. This position reports to the EpiC Myanmar Project Director.
