The IDB Group is a community of diverse, versatile, and passionate people who come together on a journey to improve lives in Latin America and the Caribbean. Our people find purpose and do what they love in an inclusive, collaborative, agile, and rewarding environment.
About this position
In the context of a transformation process for greater impact and scale, the Institution has adopted a new approach that unifies and focuses the work of the IDB, IDB Invest and IDB Lab under one goal: ramp up the impact and scale of the results we achieve for the countries and people of Latin America and the Caribbean. In addition, IDB is currently moving through a process of recapitalization of its private sector divisions, IDB Invest and IDB Lab. In order to move forward with its recapitalizations and further growth, the IDB has embarked on a series of governance, administrative, operational, and financial reforms that will strengthen the quality of its lending and its brand as the LAC Region’s leading proponent of socially and environmentally sustainable growth.
We are looking for a Senior Outreach Consultant who actively track legislative activities related to the IDB Group, advising senior management on how to engage proactively, respond to queries and press reports, and to adjust messaging and communications in order to strengthen the IDB’s brand and relations with its primary shareholders and representatives.

The EVP as the Chief Operating Officer of the institution and under the guidance of the Board of Executive Directors and the President of the Bank, is responsible for the operation of the Bank and provides day-to-day management oversight of and direction to, the Vice Presidents and all other senior staff. The EVP also oversees the quality control and risk management of all Bank operations and serves as chair of all Management committees responsible for the Bank’s operational activities.
You will be part of an impactful and multidisciplinary team working on projects, tasks, and activities geared to advise the EVP, senior management, and the Bank teams in leading critical issues for the Institution.
