The Senior Operations Coordination Officer is assigned to the Operations Coordination Unit (SAOC) and will also work with the private sector development unit in the office of the Director General (SAOD) within the South Asia Department (SARD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to SARD Regional Head, Operations Coordination and Regional Head, Private Sector Development; and may supervise junior team members.
As a Senior Operations Coordination Officer, you will support ADB's initiatives in South Asia developing member countries by coordinating operational tasks, managing data, and aiding strategic planning. Key responsibilities include: (i) coordinating bank-wide initiatives (Operational Risk Management, Work Program and Budget Framework, Annual Portfolio Performance Report, Development Effectiveness Review); (ii) monitoring project pipelines and maintaining tracking systems; (iii) contributing to country programming and strategy formulation; (iv) ensuring quality assurance and supporting results frameworks; and (v) enhancing data management systems. For private sector development (PSD), you will manage technical assistance resources, procurement, consultant contracts, and private sector data.

This appointment is open to internal and external applicants.
This is a fixed-term appointment for an initial fixed period of 3 years. At the end of the initial period, this appointment may, at the option of ADB, be extended once for up to 2 years, converted to a regular appointment, or ended on its expiration date. This decision will be made in the overall interest of ADB that: (a) it will require Staff's particular blend of skills and experience in the foreseeable future; and (b) Staff's performance is satisfactory and they are suitable for further employment.
