Result of ServiceThe Senior Graphic Designer consultant will deliver professional, visually engaging communication materials that enhance knowledge sharing, advocacy, and outreach for UNEP’s Mitigation Branch, supporting the effective delivery of activities under the NDC Cluster, NDC Act & Invest, Cool Coalition, Food Systems, U4E, and related programmes geared towards supporting, through knowledge dissemination and peer-learning, emerging and developing economies’ countries to accelerate the implementation of climate actions, and enhancing the visibility of UNEP NDC and low-carbon and climate resilient development support. Work LocationParis Expected duration12 months (average of 10 days of high-quality graphic design services per month, based on demand) Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe Senior Graphic Designer consultant will produce high-quality design and communication products to support UNEP Climate Change Mitigation Branch and the Communication Division, including: • Templates: Develop templates for NDCs, Cool Coalition, Food Systems, U4E, and other initiatives. • Reports: Design and layout reports, executive summaries, and condensed outputs. • Slide Decks: Prepare visually compelling presentations for events, meetings, and case studies. • Graphics & Infographics: Create data visualizations, campaign visuals, and social media graphics. • Communication and campaign displays; such as roll-ups, banners, posters, display units, workshop stands • Edits & Revisions: Update existing design products as required. • Design of communication materials for UNEP Climate Action sub-programme in digital and/or print formats. Qualifications/special skillsStrong design and visualization skills with creativity and attention to details Strong graphic design portfolio on climate change or other environmental fields such as biodiversity, nature protection, clean energy English and French languages proficiency and notions of Spanish a plus LanguagesEnglish and French languages proficiency required, some knowledge of Spanish a plus Additional InformationNot available.
