We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Middle Office Unit in the Treasury & Finance Department on a four-year fixed-term contract.

The Middle Office Unit is responsible for reporting, valuations, valuation models, market data, hedge accounting, and IT systems for NIB’s Treasury operations. It is one of six units that report to the CFO of NIB. As a Senior Business Analyst, you will report to the Head of Middle Office and will be engaged in all main Treasury activities, with a particular focus on IT systems from strategic, tactical, and operational perspectives. You will be part of a professional Treasury & Finance department with highly skilled and engaged colleagues.

Main responsibilities

Participate in the Front Office system development. Provide system support for the different business units. Develop, analyse, test, and monitor the Treasury IT system-related processes and new instrument types. Act as a link between system users and the system vendor, ensuring that business requirements are met. Provide system training for users. Additionally, you will be involved with other areas of responsibility within the Middle Office unit from time to time

Qualifications and Experience

A University degree in finance, applied mathematics, or another quantitative discipline. Strong knowledge of the Finastra Fusion Summit front office system. Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail. Knowledge of global capital markets, especially fixed income instruments and derivatives, including their valuation methodologies. Fluency in English and solid writing skills.
