This position is in the Security Services Division, within the Corporate Services and Facilities Department. The Security Training Officer is part of a security training team within the Security Division. Under the overall direction of the Division Chief, the Training Officer will serve as part of a training team to act as the primary learning specialists in the Division. The Training Officer Team will manage the Division’s Security Training program and will be focused on all aspects of security training development and delivery of blended (instructor lead & e-learning) training and learning solutions.
The Training Officer will be expected to work collaboratively with the Division in the ongoing development of learning needs assessments, innovative learning design, appropriate delivery methods, and impact measurements – creating an agile and engaging learning journey for IMF staff and collaborating with partners to deliver innovative learning solutions across key areas of delivery. The Training Officer will focus on clear learning needs assessments, gaps analysis, training ROI, and impact measurements for security training across the organization.

This is a two-year contractual appointment. Contractual appointments at the IMF are renewable for up to four years of cumulative contractual service, pending incumbent's performance, budget availability, and continuous business need.
