About the position 

The intern will support the MEL PABRA lead on data organization and data analysis

Responsibilities
Support PABRA MEL teams to organize program data of various PABRA member countries
Support to configure data collection tools and conduct data analysis as guided by the PABRA MEL Lead
Support the active communication and visibility of the program (website, social media)
Support the logistical and organizational output of the program through invitations, agenda, talking points, power point preparations.
Support crop researchers and thematic programs on data capture and data storage
Regularly communicate program status and the lesson learned from various themes.
Any other duties that will be assigned related to data collection, analysis and management functions

Requirements Completed bachelor's degree in Agribusiness/Economist, Statistics, knowledge of Geographical Information System (GIS) will be an added advantage.
Knowledge on the use of data analysis tools such as R statical software, SPSS, GenStat, and other GIS packages.
Experience of the use of digital data collection tools such as ODK and Survey CTO will be added advantage.
Excellent drafting skills, capable of producing high-quality analytical documents and organising and summarizing materials clearly for a variety of audiences.
High analystical computing skills with good knowledge of MS Office applications
Knowledge of data management ethics
Good communication, written and interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multicultural team
Good knowledge of English language.

Terms of employment 
This internship is a nationally recruited position based in Arusha, Tanzania. The contract will be for a period of 3 months and is renewable depending on performance and availability of resources.
