About the position
The Analyst-System Integration will support the management of the life cycle of internal applications in support of the organization business processes including the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, satellite applications of the ERP and other in-house developed or third-party existing business applications.
Key duties & responsibilities
- Exploit specialist knowledge to influence solution construction providing guidance in order to increase efficiency.
- Support application delivery, review deployment options and select appropriate methodology considering business requirements.
- Collect requirements for additions/changes to current processes and applications.
- Act creatively to develop applications and ensure the solution is in line with business requirements. Exploits specialist knowledge of incident and problem management process to prevent failures and resolve issues with minimum business impact.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
- Minimum of two years of relevant experience
- Experience in ERP information systems project implementations, preferably within an international organization.
- Knowledge of relational Database, SQL
- Understanding of Business Intelligence development process and techniques (Power BI / Fabric)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with other national and cultural backgrounds
- Well-developed skills in personal organization, priority setting and problem solving
- Strong client orientation and service approach
- Ability to work with a high degree of independence within assigned areas
- Knowledge and experience with Unit4 ERP are desirable
- IT service management and/or project management certification are an added advantage.
Terms of employment
This is a nationally recruited position based in Nairobi, Kenya. The initial contract will be for one year, subject to a probation period of three months and is renewable depending on performance and availability of resources.
This position is graded at BG06 level, with a minimum basic salary of KES 168,837 in a scale of BG01 to BG14 (BG14 being the highest level according to the Alliance job classification framework policy).
