Organizational Setting and Reporting Relationship
The position of Reward Officer is assigned to the Reward, HR and Health Division (BPRS) within the Budget, People, and Management Systems Department (BPMSD). You will be based at our Headquarters in Manila, Philippines.
You will report to Director, BPRS or designated International Staff and will be part of a small team of compensation experts.
Your Role
As a Reward Officer, your role is to ensure the effectiveness of reward and job evaluation policies and programs for International Staff (IS), National Staff (NS), and Administrative Staff (AS) in headquarters (HQ) and the field offices (FOs).
You will support, coordinate, and aid the development and implementation of policies and implementing procedures of ADB's compensation and benefits programs for staff. This will include formulation of service conditions/employment terms in HQ and in field offices (FO), in a timely, effective and efficient manner. You will also support projects undertaken by the Division including providing technical support as required.

Supervise the accurate processing and implementation of approved salary changes based on established compensation policies and implementing guidelines.Job evaluation
Undertake evaluations and slotting of jobs against the ADB's job architecture, based on Hay methodology and maintain a central repository of job information, including evaluated scores and corresponding job descriptions. Support projects related to job evaluation, including the consistent implementation of procedures for internationally and locally sourced jobs.Others
Ensure maintenance of accurate salaries database for all staff categories. Identify systems/procedural enhancements to ensure efficient maintenance and processing. Ensure accurate and timely updates in the BPMSD website for consistency with ADB's revised policies and procedures. Manage and support the full implementation of the IT system supporting the annual salary review. Coordinate within BPMSD on the update of Administrative Orders, guidelines, and policies. Collaborate with other Departments on ADB's responses to surveys and questionnaires requested by International Financial Institutions (IFIs) and other external parties. Coordinate on inputs to inter-departmental papers and documents such as the Work Program and Budget Framework (WPBF), annual report, etc. Gather and organize data to support the Division's/Office's research effort or to generate new or complex reports. Prepare write-ups and briefing materials, and maintain documents, records, files, and databases to ensure that information for research is updated and accurate. Conduct training on ADB reward policies and procedures, and disseminate related information to relevant stakeholders. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Psychology, or related fields preferably with advanced training At least 8 years' relevant work experience In-depth knowledge of reward policies and salary and benefits administration Working experience of Hay methodology Highly skilled in statistical analysis, analytical thinking, and presentation skills Proficiency in standard software for word processing and spreadsheets applications Strong interpersonal skills required in dealing with the diverse expectations and problems arising from a multicultural environment Ability to work collaboratively with teams as a constructive team member Strong planning and organizing skills to handle many tasks with deadlines Excellent oral and written communication skills in EnglishPlease refer to the link for ADB Competency Framework for National Staff level 2.
