How can you make a difference?
Under the supervision of the Data Center Officer, the Data Processing Assistant (Fundraising Campaigns) provides administrative support for the development, generation, and implementation of fundraising campaigns together with the data center team and the IG retention area of the Resource Mobilization & Partnership. The Database Assistant is responsible for generating and supporting the database and information needs of the campaigns. The main functions/accountabilities are:
Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data, including input and output, budget preparation, expense reporting, invoice/contract routing and processing. Create mailing lists for multiple direct mail appeals including membership drive, invitations to cultivation events and special fundraising benefits. Act as an active researcher of prospects, directing them to program visits and taking annual donors into the next level of giving. Make creative connections among people, events, programs, and their networks. Prepare weekly and quarterly reports and fundraising calendar for development planning/analysis and reporting. Work in coordination with other team members, especially the Data Center team, to optimize tools, document processes and generate valid and good quality information for the different fundraising campaigns. Follow up and support value maximization campaign plans, emergencies and legacy campaigns as needed; Develop and maintain efficient systems for data cleansing, data entry, gift processing, prospect research, and relationship management; Facilitate the fundraising activities of volunteer campaign solicitors by providing clerical, record-keeping, and other administrative support for their prospect identification, cultivation, and solicitation efforts. Assist the supervisor to develop and maintain an accurate report of campaign progress to date. Support the Supervisor with database entry and reports. Ensuring the timely and accurate segmentations of the database according to different criteria to allow the implementation of specific campaigns targeted to defined donor groups.To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have…
Education: Completion of secondary education is required, preferably supplemented by technical or university courses related to the field of work in computer sciences or database administration.
Experience:
A minimum of five years of experience in operational data entry, data management or Business intelligence, office management. For this position, a bachelor’s degree from a recognized academic institution in a relevant field may replace three years of related work experience. Experience in data segmentation work, generation of variable analysis and construction of information from different sources of information is needed. Experience of at least one year working with salesforce (marketing cloud, sales cloud.) as an asset Experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SQL, Power BI. Proven experience in data entry and customer service is an asset.Language: Fluency in English and Portuguese is required. Knowledge of Spanish is an asset.

Child safeguarding involves proactive measures to limit direct and indirect collateral risks of harm to children, arising from UNICEF’s work, UNICEF personnel or UNICEF associates.
