Job Purpose and Organizational Context
UNDP Egypt has always been a reliable, efficient provider of development services. Results-Based Management function was introduced to UNDP Egypt country office in 2019 through recruitment of Results-based Management & Resources Management Officer. The RBM function facilitated integrated work planning (IWP) by undertaking financial and program results’ monitoring and performance in a Results-Based Management (RBM) framework. Under the overall guidance of the Resident Representative, the RBM team coordinates the implementation of and facilitate conformity with, UNDP standards, policies and methodologies in RBM, comprising monitoring and evaluation and the planning and management of program resources. RBM function maintains a comprehensive overview of the programme and project resources management, entailing monitoring of programme inflows and outflows (core-and non-core), as well as the program and projects results management including setting SMART indicators, results monitoring, results-based reporting and evaluation.
Duties and Responsibilities
The RBM Associate will assist the RBM Team Lead in ensuring quality of planning, monitoring and evaluation of all UNDP Egypt programs and projects:
Supports implementation of evaluation corporate requirements through maintaining evaluation database:
Facilitates knowledge sharing and knowledge management in CO:
Contributes to the corporate reporting requirements:

Contributes to the program resource and financial management:
The incumbent performs other duties within their functional profile as deemed necessary for the efficient functioning of the Office and the Organization.
Institutional Arrangement:
The incumbent will work under the supervision of the head of Results-Based Management unit.
