GENERAL OBJECTIVES:

  • Responsible for FSL activities in targeted location, and supervise FSL team in the planning, coordination and execution of the FSL programs activities on daily basis to achieve project outputs/outcomes.

  • Facilitate the focus group discussions with beneficiaries and their representatives of the community.

  • Ensure correct beneficiary selection and verification procedures and criteria are followed by FSL project assistants.

  • Ensure the field team understand and check the quality of information collected.

  • Actively participate in the collection and analysis of information related to need Assessment, market assessment, and price monitoring.

  • Ensure quality of work plan and implementation during the distribution and redemption process of vouchers, and accurate documentations related to the program at the field level accordingly.

  • Verify and count the vouchers from the participant vendors and review all documents prior submission to finance for payment.

  • Advise on program implementation modalities.

  • Upon request, participate in internal and external meetings to promote effective and efficient information sharing and program integration

  • Participate in the documenting lessons learned, best practice, case studies and in development of new proposal.

  • Prepare regular and comprehensive project reports, on daily, weekly and ad hoc basis.

  • Facilitate and supervise the training of beneficiaries.

  • Any other tasks assigned by the project manager.

Qualifications

  • A university degree in agricultural engineering

  • At least 1 year of experience in agriculture and food security field.

  • Ability to work effectively with an ethnically diverse team in a sensitive environment

  • Computer skills – Word and Excel will be an asset

  • Arabic is essential, English language is preferred,
