Context
Under the direct supervision of the Protection/MHPSS Programme Manager and closely coordinating with other MHPSS staff. The incumbent will support the implementation of Protection and MHPSS activities in Plateau Kaduna, Kaduna, and Taraba states through coordination, reporting and logistics support.
- Support the implementation of project activities within the assigned locations, including assisting with logistics, documentation, and coordination of MHPSS and protection activities.
- Assist in maintaining working relationship with relevant line ministries, agencies, donors, CSOs, and private organization to facilitate positive outcome for beneficiaries.
- Support the delivery of MHPSS interventions in the field by assisting with logistics, preparation of materials, participation in community activities, and documentation of sessions, including consolidation of activity reports, under the guidance of the Programme Manager and technical staff.
- Liaise with relevant stakeholders such as government actors, UN agencies, NGOs and civil society in relation to ongoing project activities, including attending sector working group meetings when requested.
- Support Monitoring and Evaluation efforts to strengthen Accountability to Affected Population (AAP) mechanisms, including feedback systems, complaints handling.
- Promote the integration of cross-cutting issues such as protection, gender, child protection, counter trafficking and other themes in the implementation of activities.
- Undertake duty travel to project locations as required.
