Under the direct supervision of the Project Manager and under the overall supervision of the Head of LMD and having in mind the potential migrants’ needs for movement assistance, the selected candidate will provide direct advisory services to individuals with temporary protection status. Relevant services include nostrification of legal documents advisory and assistance, Labour office requalification programmes participation, employment and legal advisory and other relevant activities.
Support the implementation and planning of relevant project activities within the program scope.
Coordinate regional Contact points activities with close collaborations with CPIC representatives.
Facilitate communication between beneficiaries and relevant institutions.
Collect, analyze, and present information and data related to specific project topics.
Assist in the administrative coordination of project implementation, liaising with various organizational units and external stakeholders to initiate requests, secure necessary approvals, process administrative actions, and ensure follow-up.
Draft status reports, identifying shortfalls in delivery and bringing them to the attention of the supervisor.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
EDUCATION
High school diploma with four years of relevant experience; or,
Bachelor’s degree in Political or Social Sciences, International Relations, Development Studies, Migration Studies, Human Rights, Law or related fields from an accredited academic institution with two years of relevant professional experience
EXPERIENCE
Experience in providing consultations to individuals from the target group of temporary protection holders
Experience in negotiating and liaising with government institutions
Experience in working with migrants, refugees, internally displaced persons, victims of trafficking and other vulnerable groups; and,
Prior work experience with international humanitarian organizations, non-government or government institutions/organization in a multi-cultural setting is an advantage.
