    To provide technical support to Directorate of Primary education in the implementation of Government school feeding programme across the country.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (not all-inclusive, nor exhaustive):


    1. Support the Project Director of Project Implementation Unit (PIU) at DPE in rolling out the government school feeding Project as required in line with the annual operational plan and operational guidelines.
    2. Plan and coordinate capacity support training at national and sub-national levels to address the needs required to smooth implementation of the of new modality by the Government as required.
    3. Support PIU to strengthen overall management of the School Feeding programme through improving systems, guidelines, tools, and DPE staff capacities as well as providing support to policy and programme design.
    4. Support PIU and DPE officials in undertaking regular review of the school feeding programme achievements and in ensuring necessary follow-up.
    5. Develop monitoring and evaluation frameworks, plans, indicators, data collection tools for school feeding projects in collaboration with Monitoring and Evaluation division of DPE.
    6. Implement data collection activities, including surveys, interviews, focus group discussions, and observations.
    7. Assist project teams in establishing data management systems and databases for data storage, analysis, and integration into mainstream processes.
    8. Participate in program planning and performance review meetings to contribute insights and recommendations.
    9. Support in evidence generation, knowledge management, digitization and reporting
    10. Facilitate joint monitoring/learning visits and knowledge-sharing sessions to capture best practices and lessons learned from program implementation.
    11. Support coordination in the implementation of the school feeding and its reporting, as necessary.
    12. Engage with Government counterparts, external partners, and technical units of WFP to establish relevant collaboration mechanisms.
    13. Prepare briefs, periodic project progress and monitoring reports both technical and financial, project documents, facilitate evaluation/studies, and maintain records on programme activities.
    14. Undertake additional activities, as required.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

    Education: Completion of Advanced University degree in International Affairs, Education, Economics, Nutrition, Health, Social Sciences, or other fields relevant to international development assistance.

    Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience including 5 years of professional experience in managing social development programmes, experience working on food security, education, school feeding, and related fields possibly with UN organizations or international development organizations.

    Language: Fluency in spoken and written both in English and Bangla language.

    Excellent report writing and communication skills; excellent interpersonal skills to engage with various stakeholders; and advanced facilitation skills.
