JOB SUMMARY:
The Program Associate will be responsible for coordinating and providing support to the program team to monitor project performance and technical assistance for EpiC Thailand project.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide the following programmatic support: consolidate monthly technical activity updates for the project, update subpartners’ contacts, and subpartners’ tracking sheets.
Provide administrative and financial support to ensure completion of sub-agreement packaging, consultancy agreements, procurement, travel approvals, and travel budget tracking of the program and the management teams.
Work with Raks Thai Foundation and subpartners to manage HIV commodity inventory.
Respond to a variety of programmatic, financial, administrative and logistical needs and requirements generated from the program team.
Perform other duties as assigned.
EXPERTISE AND COMPLEXITY:
Possess the ability to manage competing priorities and execute duties and responsibilities to meet timelines.
Program support, financial management and development of budgets, with organization and attention to detail.
Report writing and conceptualize information.
Sensitivity to cultural differences in international working environment.
Knowledge of HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, family planning, public health, international development, and/or social science research is an advantage.
TYPE AND NATURE OF CONTACTS:
Routine coordination with FHI 360 employees and consultants, on-site and in the field and resolve problem situations with tact.
Interact with implementing partners, and FHI 360 colleagues working on EpiC Thailand.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Usual office working conditions; ability to travel domestically at least 25%.
