Purpose of the roster
ICARDA is building a roster for professional photographers and/or videographers to engage for various opportunities as they arise. We invite experienced professionals to apply for inclusion in this roster, which will be used to select suitable candidates for assignments related to documenting ICARDA\u2019s activities. Contractors will provide digital photographs and/or video for production of human-interest stories, social media materials, campaign publications, and website content, etc. The work will be home-based with travel required for field missions as needed.

Requirements
Objectives and Key Deliverables
Demonstrate expertise through a portfolio showcasing high-quality photographic and/or video work relevant to humanitarian and development contexts. Leverage a minimum of eight years' experience in conducting documentation trips, particularly in the humanitarian or development sector. Efficiently manage all necessary permissions for capturing images and videos on location, ensuring compliance with local regulations and ethical standards. Utilize own professional-grade photographic/video equipment and editing software, with the inclusion of drone equipment being an advantage. Offer competitive daily rates that cover equipment and provide discounted package rates for longer assignments, with clear post-production pricing based on project length. Coordinate travel to ICARDA offices in target countries independently, while ICARDA will handle domestic travel costs. Ensure readiness for field missions with self-provided travel arrangements. Possess the legal right to work in the target countries and manage insurance for both equipment and personal health independently.Benefits
