About this position
Are you proficient in payroll, taxation, financial processes, systems, and controls? Can you see yourself assuming the role of managing a variety of tasks related to payroll, tax reimbursement, and control functions, while also playing a key role in implementing and consolidating payroll and tax processes in SAP?
This position is a part of the Payroll and Tax Reimbursement Team within the Compensation, Benefits, and HR Services Division of the Human Resources Department. Our team is tasked with administering payroll tax reimbursements for staff and retirees of the Bank worldwide.
What you’ll do:
Execute payroll and tax related activities for employees and retirees of the IDB Group, ensuring timeliness and compliance with our policies and procedures. Prepare payroll calendar, communicate it to key partners from multiple teams, and coordinate validation controls are consistently performed and documented. Identify and analyze discrepancies or inconsistencies in payroll inputs provided by other groups and works with them to resolve such differences within the payroll deadlines and maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer service. Ensure payroll transactions are posted in the general ledger timely and accurately. Prepare periodic reconciliations, analyze and resolve discrepancies, and perform root-cause analyses to implement solutions to prevent errors from re-occurring. Prepare and verify reports, reconciliations, and controls to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the payroll and tax payments for Headquarters and all Country Offices. Act as subject matter expert on payroll matters, respond to inquiries from employees in HQ and Country Offices, as well as retirees or other clients. Support the implementation of new Bank policies and procedures that affect payroll, taxes, and related reporting activities, by participating in the design, testing and implementation of system enhancements. Support with the preparation of payroll and taxes information for IDB Invest, internal and external auditors and other internal Bank units. Participate in the execution of remediation plans and activities, as applicable.What you'll need
