Position: 365 Adoption & Education Lead

Team: Information & Technology

Location: London, Brussels, Dakar, or Johannesburg. Flexibility in working remotely is provided. Salary grade and benefits will vary country dependent

About the Role

We are looking for someone to take on the challenge of ensuring that our colleagues are knowledgeable, confident and actively choosing the Microsoft 365 suite where possible to do their human rights work. There's about 550 people to convince, based all around the world, and we have just finished a four year project to roll out customised SharePoint sites, so now we shift to the next phase of our endeavour – unleashing the power of Microsoft 365! We believe a key way to drive this change is to work with teams closely to see how they do their everyday tasks now, figure out what could be possible with 365, then supporting them through making it happen.

As you know, the Microsoft 365 suite is designed to be approachable, so for this role we want someone who can guide colleagues through building solutions to their own dilemmas, rather than just doing it for them. We want you to empower others by sharing your own knowledge and ideas for solutions and trouble-shooting where necessary.

About You

You will be amazing at:

  • Microsoft 365 – we are talking each of the apps and the Power Platform. If you are still learning Power Apps, that's fine, so are we. You don't need administration level experience, but you do need to know what the suite can offer to those that use it.
  • Microsoft 365 interconnectivity – show us you know how the tools in the suite can work together, often with SharePoint, to achieve a variety of goals.
  • Administration level understanding of SharePoint environments – how permissions and access works, how they connect with 365 groups and other 365 tools.
  • Talking to people and making them feel like they are supported - this role is all about allowing people to trust in you and your expertise, and then connecting their ideas to new technology in a way they can understand and believe in.
  • Collaborating and workshopping ideas - Working with the SharePoint team and the Information Manager will be key here as you will often need their help to find a way forward for a solution.
  • Promotion and advertising – you know how we mentioned earlier there was 550 people to convince.. well, you'll definitely need to be coming up with creative ways to shout about the opportunities that 365 offers, and that you exist too.
  • Documentation and training – this is absolutely key to embedding Microsoft 365 into everyday life here at Amnesty.

We welcome applicants from all qualified candidates regardless of their ethnicity, race, gender, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, age or whether or not they have a disability.
