Context
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Resources Management and direct supervision of the RMO – Budget and Financial Compliance and collaboration with the Regional Office; and, in close coordination with the Department of Financial and Administrative Management (DFM) at Headquarters (HQ), the Administrative Centres in Manila and Panama City, the National Finance Officer will be responsible and accountable for supporting and coordinating the financial functions of the IOM Pakistan Country Office (CO) and its Sub-Offices

In depth knowledge of the broad range of migration related subject areas dealt with by the Organization; and, Knowledge of UN and bilateral donor programming. Knowledge of financial rules and regulations. Knowledge of International Public Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS) Familiarity with financial oversight and public administration is an advantage; and, Knowledge of MS Office products and good computer literacy skills are required.Languages
IOM’s official languages are English, French, and Spanish.
