Project Context and Scope Established in 1951, the International Organization for Migration (IOM) is the leading intergovernmental organization in the field of migration and works closely with governmental, intergovernmental, and non-governmental partners. IOM is committed to promoting humane and orderly migration for the benefit of all by providing services and advice to governments and migrants. From 2023 to 2025, IOM Kazakhstan is implementing a 24-month project funded by the U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL). The project, “Strengthening Legislation on Combating Trafficking in Persons in Kazakhstan,” supports the Government and Parliament of Kazakhstan in enhancing anti-trafficking legislation through expert and technical assistance.

The end products expected to be delivered by the Consultant will be (in Russian), as follows:
The Consultant will receive a consultancy fee, which will be paid to the bank account indicated by the Consultant upon completion of the services provided and approval by IOM of the submitted final report.
The Consultant will work under the overall supervision of the National Programme Officer at IOM Kazakhstan. As work progress, the Consultant will share expected delivery results with the IOM Kazakhstan for review. IOM Kazakhstan will ensure to provide timely comments to the consultant’s work and address any Consultant’s request (i.e. additional information, participants contacts, etc.).
