Background:
The Office, in collaboration with the ICEP (an independent, non-profit, Austrian development organization based in Vienna) and the KFCSED (Kazakhstan Foundation for Cultural, Social and Educational Development), is planning to organize a series of workshops in a pilot region of Kazakhstan, specifically in Almaty and Almaty Oblast. This initiative will be cross-dimensional, carried out in partnership with the Office’s Human Dimension, ensuring a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach.
The workshops are aimed at building practical skills, enhancing employability, and promoting entrepreneurship among women. This initiative is particularly aimed at empowering women who are particularly mothers with multiple children and women who have experienced gender-based violence, by improving their access to economic opportunities.

Objective of Assignment:
The Office will require the services of one Kazakh-speaking and one Russian-speaking trainers on entrepreneurship skills to conduct training sessions on entrepreneurship under the women's economic empowerment programme.

Duration of Assignment:
The Consultant will be hired under a Special Service Agreement (SSA) for 18 working days.

Tasks, Responsibilities and Deliverables:

Under the overall supervision of the Senior Economic and Environmental Officer, the successful candidate will be tasked with the following duties:

1. Design and deliver entrepreneurship training sessions on the following preliminary topics: business basics, financial management, business planning, accessing funding and grants, legal basics, customer relationship management.
Output to be achieved: Conduct 8* sessions (totaling 12* hours of training part and 12* hours of consultation part) for each of the two targeted groups. Each session must be supported by an attendance list and photo documentation.

2. Customize training sessions for women in vulnerable situations.
Output to be achieved: Adapt the training content to reflect the specific needs and context of participants. Finalized materials to be submitted in PDF format to the project team.

3. Provide consultation support to participants.
Output to be achieved: Deliver a total of 30* hours of group consultations, ensuring each session is documented with attendance records and photographic evidence.

4. Evaluate progress and assist in the development of action plans.
Output to be achieved: 30* completed individual action plans, each including trainer’s feedback or comments; entry and exit tests administered to assess learning progress.

Necessary Qualifications:

- Demonstrated experience in delivering entrepreneurship training courses and mentorship, particularly for women and youth;
- Certified business coach (e.g., ACC ICF or internationally recognized equivalent);
- Founder of entrepreneurship education initiatives, such as business schools or training centers;
- Proficient in facilitating strategic planning sessions and moderating discussions at the executive or board level;
- Experienced in designing and applying gamified approaches to business processes and corporate training programs;
- Excellent communication and motivational skills, with the ability to tailor training content to the needs of vulnerable participants;
- Fluency in Kazakh/Russian; proficiency in English is an asset.

Remuneration Package:

Remuneration will be based on the selected consultant's/expert's qualifications, experience, the tasks and deliverables for this position and in accordance with the OSCE established rates.
