MSF is advertising for the following position: MISSION PHARMACY MANAGER SUPPORT.

Description:

Main objective:

Ensuring general functioning of the pharmacy and supervising pharmacy supply chain processes in accordance with MSF standards, protocols and procedures, in order to ensure its efficiency and operating availability.

Main responsibilities:

  • Supervising the recording all items received and issued in computer (Isystock Afrin, Al Bab, IDAL and Azaz) and reporting on drug consumptions and medical equipment dispensed according to protocols, informing on unusual patterns as well as forecasting future needs, in order to rationalise the budget and to ensure availability.
  • Assisting in training of pharmacy focal points in the supported facilities regarding dispensing of drugs and their side effects in Afrin, Al Bab, IDAL and Azaz projects.
  • Supervising the running pharmacies of Al Bab, Afrin and IDAL (stock management and stock analysis) in order to improve the follow up of the LP orders by circulating the stock between the projects according to the dynamic needs .
  • To provide support to all the pharmacy field team when needed in terms of training.
  • Supporting the field team calculating their needs proactively and to insure the availability of stock in all projects to avoid stock loss or ruptures.
  • Improving and keeping up with changes of the medical standard list in all the running pharmacies (usually is requested by HQ referents).
  • Following up and tracing all the internal movements between EPREP, reactiveness kits and the regular stock (loan – borrowing) in order to consider them for the next LP.
  • Following up the reception control of medical shipments and LP cargos of all projects and report to the MPM.

Requirements for the position:

Education: Essential, degree of pharmacy management or nursing related studies., or medical profile.

Experience: At least 1 year certified work experience as a pharmacy manager.

Languages: Arabic and English Language (Written and Spoken).

Others:

  • Essential computer literacy (word, excel and internet).
  • Syrian nationality with passport.
