The purpose of a Logistics Officer (Fleet & Assets) is to provide the day-to-day implementation of logistics
function’s responsibility, namely, to be responsible for assets management and fleet operations in Area Office
Chernihiv and Shostka. Logistics Officer will ensure effective use of NRC assets stock and coordinate stock
movements and Fleet operations with other assistants and technical officers in other AOs and CO.
Generic Responsibilities
Ensure adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines.Implement delegated logistics functions according to Plan of Action.Conduct and follow up on daily operational logistic activities.Prepare reports as required by Country Office.Check all safety equipment is available based on the HSS team recommendations.Ensure proper filing of all logistics related documents.Ensure close fuel consumption/Filling monitoring, including generator.Act as focal point for fleet and assets management in Chernihiv and Shostka FO.Specific Responsibilities
Support Logistic Team Leader in managing, evaluating, and reporting Stock & Assets and Fleet managementGeneric professional competencies:
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.Minimum 3 years of experience working in logistic and two of them in a humanitarian organization.Specific knowledge of motor vehicle construction and layout.Previous experience of managing fleet (drivers) at least 6 monthsPrevious experience from working in complex and volatile contexts.Knowledge of English in the Intermediate level, fluent in Ukrainian.Strong computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Internet applications)Behavioral competencies
