The purpose of a Logistic Coordinator is to implement delegated area of logistic responsibility and deliver a variety of procurement and other logistics related activities, including management of warehouse, fleet, distribution and asset.
Generic responsibilities
Provide anti-corruption, transparency and cost efficiency focus in all processes (e.g. in procurement, vehicle management, asset management)
Perform other duties, as assigned by Line Manager
Specific responsibilities
Responsible for AO assets management in line with NRC policy.
Generic professional competencies:
3 to 5 years of experience from working as a Logistic Coordinator in a humanitarian/recovery context
Previous experience from working in complex and volatile contexts
Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities
Knowledge about own leadership skills/profile
Fluency in Arabic and English, both written and verbal
Context related skills, knowledge and experience:
University degree in Supply Chain or a relevant subject.
Knowledge and experience of main donors' logistics policies.
Knowledge of Logistics Management in the Middle East, particularly Palestine and Israel.
