Project Context and Scope
IOM Mission in Armenia is implementing of the project \"Enhancing Policy Framework and Capacity for Effective Migration and Asylum Management in Armenia\". This two-and-a-half-year project is co-funded by the European Union (EU) and aims to contribute to more effective and accountable service delivery that is based on the principles of good governance and respect of rule of law in the areas of migration, asylum, and human rights. Specifically, it will support the achievement of the enhancing asylum and migration governance in Armenia to foster well-managed and secure cross-border mobility and - in line with the Government's Programme for 2021-2026 - to continue strengthening migration and asylum systems in Armenia. Aligned with the Republic of Armenia’s digitalization strategy and public administration reforms, this activity strives to optimize service delivery, enhance efficiency, and foster transparency.

Tasks to be performed under this contract
Under the overall supervision of the Head of Office, and the direct supervision of IOM’s Programme Officer and in close coordination with the Migration and Citizenship Service (MCS) under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia and Information Systems Agency of the Republic of Armenia (ISAA) to operate and provide maintenance to the applications and systems and support their development (including but not limited to work permits, State Population Register, setting up Moodle system for the MCS etc). The consultant will support the implementation of the following tasks:

Fluency in Armenian and English is required.
