About this position

We are looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Leadership Effectiveness Consultant. As a Leadership Effectiveness Consultant, you will be responsible for assessing leadership needs, map existing programs and elements to propose future enhancements.

You will work in the Culture & Leadership Effectiveness team part of Human Resources department. This team is responsible for the organizational effectiveness and staff development strategies.

What you’ll do

  • Design and implement initiatives to enable leadership effectiveness behaviors across the organization.
  • Design and implement methodologies to evaluate effectiveness of our leadership model and identify areas for improvements. Utilize tools such as 360-degree feedback, personality assessments, performance metrics or others.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and HR teams to align leadership development strategies with organizational goals and business strategies.
  • Work closely with our Human Resources Centers of Expertise, key stakeholders, and leadership to ensure that the program delivers the expected outcomes.
  • Analyze metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and make improvements to our current processes and programs.

    What you'll need

    • Education: Master degree (or equivalent advanced degree) in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or other fields relevant to the responsibilities of the role.
    • Experience: At least/ Between 8 and 10 years of progressive experience in a role focused on leadership development, talent management, organizational development, or a related field, in a multinational environment.
    • Languages: Proficiency in English and one of the other Bank official languages (Spanish, French or Portuguese) is required.

        Requirements

        • Citizenship: You are a citizen of one of our 48-member countries.
        • Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.
