Bachelor’s level qualification from a nationally recognised/certified University in a related discipline and 2 years' post-related experience. Alternatively, the lack of a Bachelor’s level qualification may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate’s particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to the Agency, and include at least 6 years' extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post. Very good knowledge and understanding of SATCOM technologies, covering the aspects of signals, space and ground segments. Relevant experience in positions related to the provision of SATCOM services (preferably COMSATCOM), including contractual service delivery management and/or provision of systems engineering services in positions related to design, build, integrate, validate and maintain highly reliable Teleport antennas, gateway sites, and fiber circuits. Good knowledge of the SATCOM industry and markets, particularly as it relates to defence customers. Experience in end-to-end managed services. Experience with planning, deploying and validating ground-segment stations, with focus on Teleport, Gateways, PoPs and fiber circuits. Experience in mechanical and electrical engineering applied to ground-segment stations (RF, hardware, etc.) Experience in IT & telecom networks (datacenter, fiber optics, MEF 3.0, cross connection, media-converters, e-LAN, e-Lines, EVC...) NATO's official languages are English and French. The work of this post requires fluency in English, while working knowledge of French is desirable. WHAT DO WE OFFER?
