The International Maize and Wheat Improvement Centre (CIMMYT)\u2019 in Zimbabwe invites applications from suitable, dynamic and self-motivated Zimbabwean nationals to be part of the pool of Enumerators to conduct data collection services through household surveys, focus group discussion and key informant interviews.

General activities for Enumerator include:

Conducting qualitative and quantitative primary data collection through key informant interviews, focus group discussions and household surveys, with participants diligently and professionally in assigned areas. Attend and participate in relevant trainings related to data collection. Support the improvement of data collection tools through pretesting session. Ensure accurate and reliable data collection according to project protocols. Upload collected data, review and revise any submitted questionnaires. Assist in qualitative data cleaning, especially collected through focus group discussions. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards throughout the survey process. Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors. Perform any other duties as assigned to you by the supervisors.

Requirements

A bachelor\u2019s degree in a relevant field such as Agriculture, Natural Resource Management, Economics, Social Sciences or a related discipline is preferred. Previous experience in data collection, surveys, or fieldwork preferred. Familiar with Survey solutions, Kobo collect or ODK collect. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and in a team. Availability to work in rural parts of Zimbabwe. Excellent command of English and Other Major Local Language
