ITE/ITO – Convergence Team
The ITE department is looking for a Cloud Solution Architect with experience building cloud native apps and building and maturing CI/CD pipelines.
ITE is responsible for formulating the Bank’s IT Strategy, its implementation and providing related tools, solutions, and services. It is also the focal point for all IT services, infrastructure, applications, architecture, policies and security at Headquarters and Country Offices aiming to become even more business aligned, customer centric and agile.
The Departmental Operations team in the Information Technology Department (ITE/ITO) is responsible for maintenance and support of External Client Portal, External Accounts Provisioning System, Procurement Information System, Compliance System, and other applications critical to the business of the Bank.
You’ll be working in an environment where software is maintained in a deployable state throughout its lifecycle, and where the team prioritizes keeping the software in a deployable state over working on new features.
What you’ll do:
Collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, and developers to design Cloud Native solutions.
Strong business judgement to make the right decision about technology choices.
- Ensure solutions rely on test automation to guarantee resiliency of the software solutions developed.
- Integrate security in the design and testing phases of software development.
- Work as a technical SME and help to drive discussions, prioritization and decision making to internal and external teams.
- Present technical and non-technical information articulately to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish guidelines to increase the quality of the software solutions to be designed and developed.
What you'll need
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in any of the following fields: Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related area. Cloud technical certifications are a plus.
- Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience as a .NET full stack developer who has evolved into a Cloud Solution Architect. Modern programming languages and frameworks: C#, SQL, Entity Framework Knowledge in the design and support of Cloud Native Apps and DevOps tools & practices. Cloud Technologies: MS Azure. Should demonstrate relevant work experience and skills designing and maintaining IaaS and PaaS cloud solutions with good understanding of network, security and cost implications. Microsoft Azure official certifications like AZ900, AZ204, AZ400 are plus. Cloud IaC: Terraform, ARM, Azure CLI, Powershell. CI/CD: Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, JFrog. Security: Good understanding of modern authentication mechanisms, SSO, Azure AD / B2C, CORS and OWASP Top 10 vulnerabilities. APIs: Good use of RESTFull and HTTP Protocol, Azure APIM and Swagger. Testing: Writing unit and integration tests for C#, and APIs in general using code and/or tools like Postman or Specflow. Monitoring: Datadog, Azure Monitor.
- Languages: Proficiency in Spanish and English, spoken and written, is required. Additional knowledge of French and Portuguese is preferable.
