About this position:
We are looking for an experienced professional to work on the ITE/IPP Policy and Planning Division as a Solutions Architect with proficiency in designing, architecting, and implementing solutions for SaaS (Software as a Service), and PaaS (Platform as a Services) environment, and advising stakeholders and translating business requirements into designs for secure, scalable, and reliable Cloud-native solutions.

You will report to the Enterprise Architecture Team Leader in the Information Technology Policy & Planning Division. Following are the most important activities you will be doing to move forward the IT Project and Portfolio Management program towards its goals:
What you'll need:
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent the equivalent combination of education and experience in any of the following fields: Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or related area. Experience: successful candidates should be able to clearly demonstrate skills with a minimum of two years in the following areas:o Cloud: MS Azure (AWS is a plus). Should demonstrate relevant work experience and skills designing and maintaining cloud solutions with IaaS or PaaS. With good understanding of the network, security, and cost implications.
o Modern programming languages: .NET, C#, Angular
o Database: MSSQL, Azure SQL, CosmosDB
o Cloud IaC: Terraform, ARMs, Azure CLI, Powershell.
o CI/CD: Platform administration and management: Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus, JFrog.
o Modern Authentication: Azure AD, Azure BC2, with a good knowledge and use of modern authentication mechanisms (OAuth2).
o APIs: Good knowledge of RESTful and HTTP Protocol, Azure API Management and Swagger.
o Automated Testing: Hands on experience on Automated Test (Playwright, Specflow and Gherkin)
o Monitoring: Datadog (Preferred), Azure Monitoring.

Requirements:
• Citizenship: You must be a citizen of one of our 48-member countries, and a citizen or permanent resident of a country where the IDB has a Country Office
• Consanguinity: You have no family members (up to the fourth degree of consanguinity and second degree of affinity, including spouse) working at the IDB, IDB Invest, or IDB Lab.

Type of contract: Consultant Full Time Length of contract: 12 months. Contract may be extended up to 36 months based on business requirements and consultant's performance. Location: On Site.What we offer:
