This position follows a hybrid work model, involving four days of in-office work and one remote workday per week.

Our team delivers productivity and collaboration solutions to over 30,000 users, including M365, Power Platform, and AI-driven tools like Copilot. We are a fun, friendly team dedicated to solving problems with impactful technology. 
Role Overview 
You'll have overall responsibilities for executing work program under the Microsoft 365 service delivery and automation initiatives, ensuring seamless collaboration tools for our global workforce while driving efficiency through innovative solutions. This role requires a highly technical professional with a strong understanding of Microsoft 365 platform, automation, and a proactive approach to learning and adopting new technologies.
Duties & Responsibilities:
The IT Officer Engineering I, reporting to the ITSDS Team Lead, will play a crucial role in executing work program under Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Power Platform etc., as well as Email Security Products like Cisco IronPort and Microsoft Defender. You will be responsible for the operational excellence, support, and engineering of Microsoft 365 services. 
Responsibilities and skills include, but are not limited to the following: 
Manage and optimize core Microsoft 365 services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, and the Power Platform to ensure high availability, performance, and security. Provide Tier-3 technical support, handling complex and escalated issues across the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. Monitor and implement changes and new capabilities released through the Microsoft 365 Roadmap, ensuring early adoption where appropriate and alignment with organizational needs. Implement and manage platform configurations, policies, and security settings in line with organizational standards and compliance requirements. Design and automate workflows and administrative processes using Power Automate, PowerShell, and Microsoft Graph API. Support and enhance email security, and compliance features within Microsoft 365. Collaborate with cross-functional IT and business teams to gather operational requirements and translate them into scalable, supportable solutions within the M365 ecosystem. Identify risks, issues, and service gaps across the platform and recommend mitigation strategies or service improvements. Create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports for performance monitoring, usage analytics, and operational decision-making. Develop and maintain technical documentation, including configuration settings, automation scripts, standard operating procedures, and architecture diagrams. Mentor junior staff and contribute to capacity-building within the IT team regarding Microsoft 365 technologies.
Technical Competencies:
Broad understanding of enterprise IT operations, cloud computing principles, and modern workplace technologies. Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to resolve escalated, complex technical issues within the Microsoft 365 environment. Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 services including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, OneDrive, Viva Engage, and Microsoft Defender for Office 365. Experience with securing Microsoft 365 platform.

Selection Criteria

Master's degree with 5 years relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 7 years relevant experience.

5+ years of hands-on experience managing and supporting Microsoft 365 services in a mid- to large-scale enterprise environment. Strong knowledge of security and compliance features in Microsoft 365 (e.g., retention policies, eDiscovery)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills Strong customer focus and ability to manage client expectations

Demonstrated ability to learn, adapt, drive change and innovate. Proven experience with PowerShell scripting, automation, and Microsoft 365 administrative tools

Microsoft 365 Messaging/ Teams/SharePoint Administrator/ Power Platform App Maker Associate/Power Platform Developer Associate
