Result of ServiceThe consultant will contribute to improve the experience of the users of the eRegistrations systems and allow government officials store and view the data they need more efficiently. Work LocationHome Based Expected durationStarting as soon as possible for 3 months Duties and ResponsibilitiesUnder the supervision of the project coordinator, and in close collaboration with other international experts, the consultant will be entrusted with the development of new functionalities for the eRegistrations platform through the following tasks: 1. Optimize the Business Process Analyzer (BPA) forms by reusing determinants configured by the analyst. Currently when an analyst uses a determinant/filter multiple times in the form, the schema of a form repeats the definition of the determinant/filter for each occurrence, leading to schema having considerable size. The purpose of this task is to define the determinant/filter only once then reuse it across the schema. 2. Upgrade custom webservice from Mule3 to Mule4. The eRegistrations platform uses Mule3 software for all custom BOTs (exchange of data). A new version of the Mule is available, and the consultant will update the syntax to match this new version to allow upgrades. Qualifications/special skillsAn advanced university degree, Master, in Information Technology, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics or related field, is required. A first level degree with an additional two years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced degree. Work experience: At least 7 years of experience in IT, system and data management, is required. Work experience with integrating DevOps methods in frontend and backend software development, is desirable. Work experience with the UNCTAD eRegistrations system, is desirable.
