University degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent education. At least eight years of experience in the information systems field, of which at least five years were in an IT environment interconnecting systems, applications, processes and data. At least one major project completed from feasibility study through to post implementation review, with responsibility for project management at each stage of development. Broad technical background in the area of IT infrastructure and applications including Systems, Applications and Products (SAP), EDI, Internet technology, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), network and systems security. Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both orally and in writing, in technical and non-technical areas with technicians and non-technical managers in an often-stressful environment. Specific Qualifications
Functional and technical knowledge of the main Agency enterprise software (SAP) modules and practical experience in Advanced Business Application Programming (ABAP/4). Knowledge and experience of EDI, ASD S2000M and Enterprise Application Integration (EAI) systems and technologies. Knowledge of Microsoft development technologies and solutions in the area of web and electronic business. Good understanding of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) operations in a multinational environment. LANGUAGE QUALIFICATIONS
NATO's two official languages are English and French. The work of this post is mainly conducted in English, therefore fluency in that language is essential and working knowledge of French is desirable. WHAT DO WE OFFER?
