The initiative promotes the improvement of social conditions and environmental impacts in global supply chains, focussing on selected agricultural products (e.g. cotton, cocoa, coffee, palm oil, natural rubber, etc.) and topics (e.g. forest protection, corporate due diligence, living wages and income). To this end, INA provides technical and strategic advice to the client at the Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). In addition, dialogue processes with stakeholders in the relevant sector are coordinated and consolidated through continuous knowledge management. Finally, INA advises and supports the development and monitoring of projects in the above-mentioned context and cooperates within the framework of a multi-level approach with a multi-level approach with the private sector, civil society and international organisations.
As part of your internship, you will support the team ‚Project Development and Support’, in particular the ‘Due Diligence Fund’ and the ‘Roundtable on Tea and Spices’:
Supporting project implementation, coordination of the M&E system and the elaboration of lessons learned Supporting the team in the organization of trainings regarding sustainability in agricultural supply chains Supporting communication, press and public relations work as well as administrative and organizational activities in day-to-day business. This also includes carrying out literature research and the independent creation of communication materials, statements, background papers and presentations for both internal and external purposes Supporting the team in the planning, preparation, implementation and follow-up of internal and external, digital and physical events, e.g. by creating presentations, moderating and writing minutes You will be involved in day-to-day business and familiarise yourself with the administrative and organisational processes, structures and working methods of INA and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbHPlease be informed that you are only allowed to apply for this internship, if you are currently enrolled as a student or graduated not longer than six months ago from the start of your internship.
We pay a monthly stipend of €2.134,52 (gross).
