Job description

Green hydrogen is to be used to achieve Germany's ambitious energy and climate targets and open up sustainable growth and development opportunities in partner countries. This requires entrepreneurial spirit and private sector commitment. On behalf of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection (BMWK), we are cooperating with companies that are pioneers in testing new business models, developing forward-looking projects and open up new markets. In particular, development partnerships with the (EPW) in particular enable technology and project-related collaboration with companies and companies and provides impetus for the global market ramp-up. Effective communications are a central part of the projects’ impact, particularly through translating technical and abstract concepts into accessible, engaging stories and bringing country-specific perspectives into global fora.

Your tasks

As part of the internship, you will take on the following tasks:

You will support the planning and implementation of all communication activities. You will create and edit print and online formats incl. visual and video content (e. g., blogposts, presentations, infographics) related to PtX and hydrogen, also in collaboration with external consultants. You will support the maintenance and further development of website content (experience in WordPress and Elementor is an advantage). You will prepare editorial and visual content for social media channel(s). You will actively contribute to the successful implementation of internal and external workshops and other events. You will support the day-to-day operations and project management.

Your profile

Ongoing university studies, e. g. in the field of communication or media sciences, public relations, marketing, political or social sciences or a journalistic education Initial work experience in communications and public relations in the form of internships or working student positions Interest in the topics of renewable energy, international cooperation and sustainability (initial work experiences are an advantage) Ability to write and edit, including technical, content (text and visual) in a target group-oriented, understandable and appealing manner High degree of digital affinity and skilled in working with social media Strong written communication skills, analytical thinking skills and structured approach to work Fluent in German and English; French and Spanish is an advantage Good MS Office skills (especially Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams); knowledge of graphics and layout programs such as Adobe InDesign is an advantage

We pay a monthly stipend of €2.134,52 (gross).
