Job Overview: The Intake Coordinator provides trauma-informed services to refugees and other qualified immigrants, supporting a positive resettlement experience and client self-sufficiency. This role oversees pre-arrival preparation, coordinates intake services, supervises casework staff, and maintains compliance with donor and program requirements. The Intake Coordinator works closely with clients, staff, and external partners to ensure timely and effective delivery of services. This position reports to the Resettlement Program Manager.

Core Service Delivery
Coordinate pre-arrival case preparation, including case assurance, communication with U.S. ties, and liaison with IRC Headquarters Processing Department. Assign cases to caseworkers and ensure timely provision of core services (e.g., airport pickups, home visits, school enrollment) in line with R&P, APA, RTCA, MG, and program guidelines. Collaborate with internal departments to ensure timely internal and external referrals.Documentation, Compliance & Reporting
Oversee case file documentation for accuracy and compliance. Develop forms, procedures, and training materials in partnership with the Casework Supervisor. Ensure reporting requirements are met in compliance with donor and organizational standards.Direct Client Services
Maintain a reduced caseload of clients, ensuring all receive the full range of required services. Assess and monitor client progress at regular intervals, adjusting service and self-sufficiency plans as needed. Develop and share local resources across programs.Staff Supervision & Other Responsibilities
Support the Casework Supervisor in fostering a respectful, supportive, and inclusive team environment. Ensure compliance with IRC policies and procedures. Train and lead volunteers and interns as needed. Carry out timely, professional interventions to ensure responsive and client-centered service delivery. Perform other duties as assigned.Job Requirements
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field required. Master’s degree preferred.Work Experience:
3+ years of case management experience in a social services environment required. Experience working with vulnerable or underserved populations preferred.Demonstrated Skills & Competencies:

Proficiency in English required; bilingual ability in Spanish, Dari, Swahili, Kinyarwanda, Arabic, French, or other refugee/immigrant language preferred.Certificates or Licenses:
Valid driver’s license, active insurance policy, and access to reliable transportation. Must possess or be eligible for a fingerprint clearance card per Arizona state law.Working Environment:
A combination of standard office environment, remote work, and ‘field’ time within the service delivery area to perform the above outlined responsibilities. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required. Must be able to lift 35–50 pounds (furniture, household supplies, food boxes).Compensation: (Pay Range: $24 - $25.74**)** Posted pay ranges apply to US-based candidates. Ranges are based on various factors including the labor market, job type, internal equity, and budget.
