The Program:
NRC education program aims to provide safe and inclusive learning opportunities for the most conflict affected children in the West Bank and Gaza, thus, the department provide capacity building and training for teachers and counsellors, PSS activities, educational and learning intervention,
The Position:
The purpose of the Information Management officer position is to support Education department’s learning, project and programme management with data collection, quality control and reporting, as well as assist in the thematic implementation of the Education program in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.
Main Responsibilities of the Role:
Support the development of Education Department’s data management system, through design, documentation, implementation, and harmonisation of Education activities. Support Education monitoring, evaluation, accountability and learning processes, including the spot checks and any other control measures. Support the development of data collection, data entry and reporting methodology and tools. Support the data collection and management, and development of clear information flow between program and NRC Monitoring and Evaluation staff. Prepare progress reports, including project reports, log frames, ITT and GORS. · Carry out capacity building and training of programme staff on Education database and NRC Monitoring and Evaluation technical and conceptual areas. Contribute updated beneficiary figures and achievements to the donor, project/program reports, assessments, monitoring, and strategy documents as required. Providing specific technical support and capacity building towards project staff in implementing and maintaining Education database Adherence to NRC policies, guidelines, and standards.Qualifications and Skills required:
Minimum Two years of experience working in Monitoring and Evaluation, or equivalent. Education in Social Science, statistics, economics, or any other related field. Knowledge in KOBO, ODK or other similar mobile data collection tools. Experience in cleaning and analysing data using Microsoft Excel or Power BI. Presentation and communication skills. Fluency in English.What we Offer?
