Work LocationHome based Expected duration01 May - 30 June 202 Duties and ResponsibilitiesThe temporary job opening is from 01 May to 30 June 2025. The consultant will be home-based. The consultancy position is located in the Evaluation Team within the Policy, Evaluation and Training Division (DPET) of the Department of Peace Operations (DPO). The consultant is under the direct supervision of the Chief of the Evaluation Team. Qualifications/special skillsAn advanced university degree (Masters or equivalent degree) in monitoring and evaluation, public administration, international development, or a related field is required. A first-level university degree in combination with two additional years of qualifying experience may be accepted in lieu of the advanced university degree. A minimum of seven years of established expertise in an advisory or capacity-building role in indicator development within a monitoring and evaluations context is required. Experience in reviewing and improving indicators for complex systems is required. Knowledge of peacekeeping operations and the CPAS system is preferred LanguagesEnglish and French are the working languages of the United Nations Secretariat.
