About this position:
The Operational Excellence Team within the Office of the General Manager (GEN) seeks to maximize our organizational goals of development impact, be a client-centric organization and create an environment for all employees to thrive by continuous processes and culture improvement.
The primary objective of this consultancy is to assist the Operational Excellence Team in the analysis and documentation of operational processes as part of the institutional effort to boost operational efficiency and achieve impact outcomes.
What you’ll do:
The consultant’s main responsibilities include:
Review and analyze existing processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. Lead and facilitate process improvement workshops and brainstorming sessions Develop and maintain detailed documentation of operational processes, including workflows, procedures, and guidelines. Create detailed process maps using appropriate tools and methodologies. Work closely with various departments to gather information and validate process maps and documentation. Propose and implement process improvement initiatives, including automation and optimization strategies. Monitor and evaluate process performance metrics to ensure ongoing efficiency and effectiveness. Collaborate with IT teams to leverage technology solutions for process automation and optimization. Provide training and support to staff on new processes and documentation standards.What you’ll need:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, industrial engineering, information technology, or related field. Equivalent master’s degree is a plus. Experience: At least 2+ years of relevant professional experience. Advanced understanding of business functions, workflows, and processes for a financial institution. An understanding of the operational work of multilateral institutions as well as an understanding of the operational frameworks of multilateral institutions will be a plus. Language: Oral and written native-like proficiency in English and Spanish, additional knowledge of Portuguese is a plus. Additional Skills: Interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to work independently, with initiative and responsibility to perform some technical and analytical support functions for ADV. You should also have research and analytical skills to be able to gather basic information and effectively transfer them into a desired format.Type of contract and duration:
