The Green Climate Fund (GCF)—a critical element of the historic Paris Agreement—is the world’s largest climate fund mandated to support low-emission, climate-resilient development pathways. As an operating entity of the financial mechanism of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC), GCF contributes to the goal of keeping an average global temperature rise well below two degrees Celsius.
The Fund seeks to engage the ICT ERP Consultant to join its team at headquarters in Songdo, Republic of Korea, for an initial 240 days over a 12-month period.
Role
Under the guidance of the Principal Software Architect, the ICT ERP Consultant will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of the Oracle ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle Cloud ERP, as well as experience with API development, integration, project management, system configuration and troubleshooting.
Duties and responsibilities
The consultant will be responsible for but not limited to:
• Support the implementation of the Oracle ERP system, including collaboration with our Oracle implementation partners.
• Support ongoing maintenance and enhancements of the ERP system, including system upgrades, patches, and enhancements.
• Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and provide solutions that meet new requirements.
• Develop and maintain system documentation, including system architecture, configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Troubleshoot system issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Provide training and support to end-users.
• Ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.
• Manage relationships with vendors and consultants.
• Implementation and maintenance of API endpoints for integration between GCF internal systems and the Oracle ERP.
Required experience and qualifications
• Advanced University Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields, or a bachelor’s degree and 2 additional years of professional experience.
• 7+ years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP systems.
• Strong experience with Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM systems, including Financials, Procurement, Supply Chain, Projects, and Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS).
• Experience in integrating enterprise and cloud solutions using low-code platforms (Azure Logic Apps, Dell Boomi) is highly desirable.
• Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are essential for this position, knowledge of another UN language an advantage.
• Backend/API development experience.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based environments.
