FHI 360 Vietnam is seeking a qualified and motivated Vietnamese candidate to serve as a Human Resource Coordinator, People and Culture (HR Coordinator) based in Hanoi for a temporary duration of 6 months, expectedly from January 2025.
Job summary and main responsibilities:
The HR Coordinator will oversee various aspects of human resources for FHI 360 Vietnam office and its projects. This role involves implementing and coordinating day-to-day HR activities for the country office in line with FHI 360’s human resources policies, procedures and practices.
Provide comprehensive support to the recruitment process, addressing the staffing needs for the projects as they arise
Provide guidance and support to staff on all HR processes including but not limited to employment induction, performance reviews, goals setting, training and development, time record systems, staff benefits, and recognition programs.
Manage employee administration including all necessary paperwork and procedures for hiring, onboarding, separation, promotion, transfer...
Maintain employee relations and assist the leadership in addressing employee concerns
Handle issues relating to staff benefits including insurance programs, trade union benefits and other recognition programs.
Coordinate and organize staff activities and events to foster an inclusive work environment.
Be responsible for reporting to local external authorities on HR matters, both regularly and on an ad-hoc basis.
Act as the country liaison with the regional and headquarters HR team to update new HR strategies and policies, and to share HR practices and lessons learned
Serve as resource for all staff regarding HR policies, procedures and practices
Participate in and coordinate initiatives that enhance cross-team collaboration, staff skills and capacity building, workplace improvement, mental health, teamwork and organizational inclusivity.
Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Experience and abilities for the position:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, social science or related field with at least seven years of relevant experience
Demonstrated working experience and skills in HR management, preferably in international organizations and knowledge of labor-related laws and governing regulations.
Ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with all levels of staff, individuals from diverse cultures
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent written and oral communication skills in English and Vietnamese.
Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, Internet…)
