About this position
We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented HR Analyst/Sr. Analyst, with strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and knowledge and understanding of HR processes. In this role, you will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of administrative HR processes and related initiatives in the Department’s Front Office, enhancing the effectiveness of the HR function and contributing to the organization's overall success.
You will work in the Human Resources Department (HRD), which is responsible for the administration and development of the IDB Group. The main functions of the Department include managing the entire employee lifecycle, implementing the People Strategy as well as programs that support the IDB’s results-based business model. HRD is also dedicated to realizing its mission of delivering human-centered experiences and strategically partnering with professionals passionate about improving lives in Latin America and the Caribbean. What you’ll do:
Assist in preparing project reports, presentations, and other materials for HR leadership. Ensure timely submission of documentation to the Board of Executive Directors or Management Committees. Facilitate and actively participate in engagement and recognition initiatives for the Department, as needed. Coordinate and oversee logistics for HRD-sponsored meetings and events, including planning, task assignments, and collaboration with vendors and internal and external stakeholders. Manage the HR General Manager’s calendar and travel arrangements, prioritizing tasks and adapting to changing schedules to ensure efficient use of time while adhering to IDB norms and culture. Organize meetings with key stakeholders, including IDB Group Management and Board members, ensuring effective and clear communication from HRD. Conduct research and analysis to provide data-driven insights for project decision-making and recommendations. By working collaboratively with the PMO and Resource Management Group, identify and recommend improvements to HR processes and workflows to boost efficiency and effectiveness.What you'll need
Education: You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or another related field. Experience: At least two years of progressive experience in HR and administration processes. Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and proven experience managing priorities. Experience handling confidential information. Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities. Knowledge of SAP is a plus. Languages: Proficiency in English, spoken and written, is required. Proficiency in another language - Spanish or Portuguese - is preferred.Requirements
