IFC’s Human Resources (HR) Department provides strategic partnership to the business to develop and implement workforce strategies and meet organizational goals, including attracting, developing, and deploying diverse and skilled talent.
•   Client Services – offers strategic HR partnership, program implementation, support, and solutions to staff and management globally.•   Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion – supports the organization to build a diverse workforce, embrace equity, and foster an inclusive workplace.•   Employment Framework and Recruitment – develops and supports HR strategy, policies/procedures, communications, and knowledge management; drives HR initiatives, such as staff engagement and Board reporting; and delivers recruitment solutions.•   Talent and Incentives – designs best practice HR solutions in onboarding, mentoring, career management and mobility, performance/talent management, incentives and awards, and leadership development.
The IFC HR function addresses IFC's specific business needs with dedicated teams.  The IFC HR Talent Development and Incentives Team oversees the design and supports the implementation of improved HR processes, practices, programs, and tools. The team works with HR Business Partners, client departments, and other HR Teams and stakeholders to deliver products that meet IFC's business needs.
IFC is seeking an HR Analyst based in Washington, DC, to support the end-to-end delivery of key talent programs across performance management, talent management, career development, and leadership development. The position will report to the HR Manager, Talent Development and Incentives, and will be part of the IFC HR Department.
Duties and Accountabilities
•   Assist in designing and implementing strategies for performance management, talent development, and career growth.•   Support performance management, talent review, career development, and leadership development through data analysis, strategic modeling, and stakeholder coordination.•   Monitor skill strengths and gaps, assess internal talent pools, and help identify and track high-potential employees.•   Contribute to developing and implementing succession plans and evaluate their ongoing effectiveness.•   Support the planning and evaluation of learning programs, identifying opportunities to strengthen development offerings.•   Compile, analyze, and visualize HR metrics and benchmarking data to drive insights and inform decision-making.•   Develop dashboards, databases, and presentations to support annual talent program cycles.•   Introduce digital, AI, and automation tools to enhance the efficiency and impact of talent programs.•   Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to ensure programs remain relevant and competitive.•   Maintain documentation, project plans, and reports to support smooth program execution and cross-functional alignment.•   Contribute to HR policy and process development and participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives.•   Perform other related duties as needed to support evolving HR priorities.

Selection Criteria

We’re looking for an HR professional with a strong analytical mindset, a collaborative spirit, and hands-on experience across core talent areas. The ideal candidate will bring: •   Master’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred but not required. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience or 4 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree.•   Demonstrated experience in supporting all or some of key talent initiatives (i.e., performance management, talent management (succession planning, rotational programs, talent reviews), learning and development, and career management•   Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights that inform HR strategies.•   A self-motivated, detail-oriented approach, comfortable working independently, managing broad instructions, and taking ownership of outcomes.•   Excellent organizational and project management capabilities, with experience managing multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders.•   A collaborative working style and the ability to build trusted relationships across HR teams, business units, and leadership levels.•   Strategic thinking combined with a practical, solutions-oriented mindset—able to align HR initiatives with business goals.•   Comfort working in fast-paced, dynamic environments, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage delivery risks.•   Exceptional communication, presentation, and facilitation skills—confident in translating insights into compelling narratives for diverse audiences.•   Familiarity with data analytics tools and emerging HR technologies, including AI, with the ability to apply them to improve programs and processes.•   Strong written communication skills, including preparing concise, business-focused reports and briefs.•   Experience working in global or matrixed organizations is preferred.
