To support our continued growth, we are currently seeking a Head of Strategic Client engagement to join our Strategic Consulting and Growth group and lead a team of strategic client engagement professionals focused on building and strengthening relationships across RTI-HS targeted clients- especially at the strategic and enterprise solutions level. To be successful in this role you will have extensive experience building meaningful relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders and the ability to foster trust ensuring long-term collaboration and sustainable growth. Additionally, you will possess strong management and leadership experience and the ability to effectively guide cross-functional teams. Location: This role is available at any of our office locations across the UK, Additionally, we offer the flexibility to work remotely. Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Leadership: Collaborate in the development of business unit strategies, ensuring alignment across business development, marketing, and communications with key focus areas such as integrated evidence, JCA implementation, medical communications, and enterprise solutions. Design and implement annual goals, ensuring accountability for achieving key deliverables that support the organisation’s mission and long-term objectives across multiple strategic growth areas. Market Analysis & Client Engagement: Provide insights and recommendations on positioning RTI-HS to proactively respond to market changes and emerging client needs, with a focus on integrated evidence, JCA implementation, and medical communications, while remaining adaptable to other strategic directions. Lead efforts to identify new market opportunities for enterprise solutions, building strong relationships with prospective clients to understand their challenges and present tailored, value-driven solutions that meet their strategic goals. Engage with current and prospective clients to explore how RTI-HS’s enterprise solutions can enhance their operations, providing consultative support and strategic advice for adoption and integration into their workflows. Organisational Representation & Networking: Represent RTI-HS at conferences, events, and industry forums to promote the organization’s capabilities across multiple domains, including integrated evidence, JCA implementation, medical communications, and enterprise solutions. Lead business development efforts with key institutional partners, cultivating long-term relationships and broadening RTI-HS’s global influence, while maintaining a versatile approach to new and evolving opportunities. Talent Development & Team Leadership: Guide and support team members in these key areas of focus, fostering a culture of collaboration, professional development, and innovation, while ensuring the team remains aligned with the organisation’s broad strategic goals. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 20 years of directly related experience in the healthcare consulting and/or research industries, or Master’s degree with 16 years of directly related experience in the healthcare consulting and/or research industries, or PhD with 12 years of directly related experience in healthcare consulting and/or research industries A demonstrated record of success in business development within the healthcare consulting or life sciences sector. Proven track record in managing and growing business portfolios and securing high-value contracts. Strong leadership skills with experience building and motivating high-performing teams. In-depth knowledge of real-world evidence, market access, health economics, or outcomes research is highly preferred
